W. Robert Knapik
W. Robert Knapik is the principal of the Law Office of W. Robert Knapik. He represents clients in the general practice of law, with a particular emphasis on commercial and residential real estate development, land use, and conveyancing.
He represents buyers, sellers, developers, and financial institutions in all aspects of real estate acquisitions, financing, development, permitting, construction, leasing and sales. He also represents litigants in civil litigation. Mr. Knapik has experience representing clients in disputes related to land use and environmental matters before appellate courts, trial courts and administrative bodies including the Department of Environmental Protection and the Housing Appeals Committee within the Department of Housing and Community Development.
Upon graduation from law school in 2000, Mr. Knapik was an associate at two Boston law firms from 2000 to 2005 where his practice was focused on commercial real estate, environmental law and corporate law. Mr. Knapik formed the Law Office of W. Robert Knapik in 2005.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Knapik was employed by a major east coast consulting firm as a land surveyor and a civil engineer. In twelve years of engineering practice, Mr. Knapik served a diverse public and private clientele in large-scale construction and land use projects. He is a Massachusetts Registered Professional Land Surveyor and a Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer.
Mr. Knapik received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1988, and a Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law in 2000. |
